Abortion activists in Pennsylvania are putting up a fight against a new bill to ban painful late-term abortions and gruesome dismemberment abortion procedures in the state. Pennsylvania House Bill 1948, sponsored by state Rep. Kathy Rapp, would ban brutal dismemberment abortions that tear unborn babies limb from limb and prohibit abortions after 20 weeks when unborn babies can feel pain.

Poll defies narrative, shows most Americans favor GOP plan to defund Planned Parenthood

A little-noticed poll is challenging the widely touted narrative that most Americans oppose GOP efforts to defund Planned Parenthood. The nationwide poll conducted by the Robert Morris University Polling Institute found that 53.3 percent of those surveyed support moving federal funding from Planned Parenthood to community clinics that do not offer abortions, while 31.5 percent are opposed.

Wilberforce Redux: What the Planned Parenthood Videos Mean

The Planned Parenthood videos are a moral turning point in the battle for protection and respect for all human beings in all stages and stations of life. My hope is that it will be a practical turning point as well, leading to the legal protection of all children in the womb. But at the very least, it is a moral turning point.
The closest parallel to the modern pro-life movement is the anti-slavery movement of the late 18th and the 19th century. Both movements have defended the helpless and the weak against the strong, and both movements defended the full humanity of all human beings.

The subject of rape, incest and life of the mother as exceptions to bans on abortion came up at last night’s GOP presidential debate, and moderator Megyn Kelly proved to be dangerously wrong on this issue.
Kelly was aghast that anyone would have any hesitation about approving an abortion to save the life of the mother. She spoke of this choice as if were one that commonly and frequently must be made.
The reality, however, is that an abortion is never necessary to save the life of the mother.

If you have ever witnessed one of those “spontaneous” pro-abortion demonstrations held in Washington whenever Congress contemplates curtailing taxpayer funding for Planned Parenthood, you may have noticed that there was something missing—African-American demonstrators. This is odd, considering that black women are far more likely to have abortions than are their Caucasian counterparts. And, examined in light of the now infamous video of a white Planned Parenthood official discussing how to crush a baby without damaging marketable livers and other organs, it is particularly ominous. Why? Because the terminated baby will probably have been black, and that is no coincidence.

70 House Democrats Sponsor Bill Mandating Tax-Funding of Abortion

Rep. Barbara Lee (D-Calif.), along with about 70 other House Democrats, introduced a bill in Congress on Wednesday that would provide taxpayer-funded abortion coverage to all women who are covered by an insurance plan through the federal government—including federal workers, military members, women incarcerated in federal prisons, and low-income women covered by Medicaid.
The Equal Access to Abortion Coverage in Health Coverage Act, or EACH Woman Act, states that “The Federal Government shall (1) ensure coverage for abortion care in public health insurance programs, including Medicaid, Medicare and the Children’s Health Insurance Program” and “in its role as an employer or health plan sponsor, ensure coverage for abortion care for participants and beneficiaries.”

My mother was not only angry in 1950. She was pregnant and scared; seeking a D&C. Thank God my Granddaddy Dr. Martin Luther King, Sr. had seen me in a dream in 1947; and he was looking and waiting for me. Granddaddy and Daddy promised to help Mother through that first unexpected pregnancy. I was born to A. D. and Naomi Ruth Barber King on January 22, 1951.
Over the years, Mother recovered from her anger, finding grace in Jesus Christ.
If my family had followed the abortion friendly path prescribed below, I and my siblings may never have been born.

Human population a plague on the Earth?

Rob Sloan of The American Vision takes on 16th Century Giovanni Botero, 18th Century Dr. Robert Wallace, 19th Century Thomas Robert Malthus, and now Sir David Attenborough, Bill and Melinda Gates, and hoards of environmentalists and NGO utopians claiming that earth cannot support high populations or that people are the scourge of the earth and strict population control is a necessity. One reason may be that the trial of late-term abortion doctor Kermit Gosnell for multiple counts of murder is about an African-American killing mainly African-American babies -- and so the common sense among liberals, or, as a friend of mine would say, the "coven-sense," is that such a story disparages that community. This is something newspapers are loath to do. In much the same manner that they cannot dwell upon the causes of hand gun violence in inner city black communities. Or perhaps they view these killings as prophylactic: one cure for out-of-wedlock births.

When the Newtown shooting took the lives of 20 children, the nation was justifiably horrified. Journalists reported round the clock on ways to change public policy to prevent another shooting. But when seven children and a mother died in a Philadelphia abortion clinic dubbed a “house of horrors,” the major media couldn’t have cared less.

It’s a news story that reads more like a Hollywood torture plot – “Saw” or “Hostel” or some other movie so foul that it makes you want to take a shower just having viewed it.
