What life in socialist Europe is actually like

After spending years living in socialist Germany and exploring all over Europe, what is striking is that, even in one of the wealthiest non-U.S. places on Earth, it is all about learning to do without.


Let's examine the facts:


-There is a crushing 20% sales tax on everything. There is also a TV tax, a radio tax, a dog tax, a death tax of up to 50%, and every other kind of tax you could possibly imagine...for a grand total of about 60-65% of your income (unless you have already been brutalized into poverty by this system, in which case you get welfare).

Megyn Kelly Dead Wrong

The subject of rape, incest and life of the mother as exceptions to bans on abortion came up at last night’s GOP presidential debate, and moderator Megyn Kelly proved to be dangerously wrong on this issue.
Kelly was aghast that anyone would have any hesitation about approving an abortion to save the life of the mother. She spoke of this choice as if were one that commonly and frequently must be made.
The reality, however, is that an abortion is never necessary to save the life of the mother.

My Angry Mother

My mother was not only angry in 1950. She was pregnant and scared; seeking a D&C. Thank God my Granddaddy Dr. Martin Luther King, Sr. had seen me in a dream in 1947; and he was looking and waiting for me. Granddaddy and Daddy promised to help Mother through that first unexpected pregnancy. I was born to A. D. and Naomi Ruth Barber King on January 22, 1951.
Over the years, Mother recovered from her anger, finding grace in Jesus Christ.
If my family had followed the abortion friendly path prescribed below, I and my siblings may never have been born.

There are two gases in the earth’s atmosphere without which living organisms could not exist. ✧ Oxygen is the most abundant, 21% by volume, but without carbon dioxide, which is currently only about 0.04 percent (400ppm) by volume, both the oxygen itself, and most living organisms on earth could not exist at all. ✧ This happened when the more complex of the two living cells (called “eukaryote”) evolved a process called a “chloroplast” some 3 billion years ago, which utilized a chemical called chlorophyll to capture energy from the sun and convert carbon dioxide and nitrogen into a range of chemical compounds and structural polymers by photosynthesis. These substances provide all the food required by the organisms not endowed with a chloroplast organelle in their cells. ✧ This process also produced all of the oxygen in the atmosphere. ✧ The relative proportions of carbon dioxide and oxygen have varied very widely over the geological ages.
