Breitbart.com: Hidden Ipsos Poll: Public Strongly Backs Donald Trump’s Plan To ‘Pause’ Legal Immigration

A just-released poll shows that Donald Trump’s campaign-trail immigration and labor policies have overwhelming public support, and strong opposition from just one-sixth of voters. (Snip) Ipsos is a highly rated polling firm, but conducted the poll in September and hid the pro-Trump answers until Nov. 16, a week after the election. (Snip) Many polls show that most Americans do like immigrants, and they want to be seen liking immigration — but they also want a reduction in the annual immigration of 1 million people, which cuts salaries for the 4 million Americans who enter the job market each year.

Why Can’t the Secretary of the Army be a Veteran?

Looking at the results you would think the results of the Military Times survey of troop morale couldn’t possibly be accurate.
Released last December, the numbers were brutal. In response to the statement, “The senior military leadership has my best interests at heart,” only 17% agreed, down from 53% in a previous survey conducted in 2009.
As for, “Overall officers in the military are good or excellent,” only 39% agreed, down from 78% in the 2009 survey.

Poll: Almost half say feds are an 'immediate threat'

Forty-nine percent of people asked in a new Gallup survey say the federal government poses "an immediate threat to the rights and freedoms of ordinary citizens," and another 19 percent say the federal government is too big in general and puts forth too many laws.
Though this sentiment has been felt by generally the same percentage of Americans for the past five years, fewer than a third of those asked (30 percent) believed it when they were first asked in 2003.

Poll: more Americans see guns as part of the solution, not the problem

As with every such tragedy, the recent shooting in a Lafayette, Louisiana theater has brought yet another round of calls for increased gun control measures from liberal politicians. (And, sadly, a few Republicans as well.) Gun rights advocates have had to once again trudge out in front of the cameras and explain why this is precisely the wrong sort of thinking when dealing with the problems of madmen and violence.

Poll: Most Hispanic Voters Don’t Think A Path To Citizenship Is Solution

More than 60 percent of registered Hispanic voters do not think a pathway to citizenship for illegals would benefit the country, and most do not see it as the best way to solve the country’s immigration problems, a new poll shows.
Of the 62 percent who felt a pathway to citizenship for illegals would not benefit the country, 33 percent felt it would hurt the economy, 7 percent felt it would overly burden public schools and 10 percent felt it would create public safety issues, the McKeon & Associates Wednesday poll found.
“The economy is still the issue,” Michael McKeon told The Daily Caller News Foundation. “When 33 percent think immigration will hurt the economy, that’s what’s on their mind.”

Porn is ‘pervasive’ in our lives, sex-ed pressures us into promiscuity: teens in UK poll

A poll of 18-year-old UK teens conducted by the Institute of Public Policy Research (IPPR) found that a large majority of both boys and girls believe that easy access to online porn puts pressure on them to look and act in imitation of what porn portrays. They also complained that sex education often presents promiscuity as normal, putting additional pressure on them to become sexually active before they might otherwise.  "This new polling data shows that pornographic images are pervasive in teenagers' lives and that young women in particular are acutely conscious of how damaging they can be," said Dalia Ben-Galim, associate director of the IPPR, in media statements.

Majority of Americans Oppose Birthright Citizenship for Illegal Aliens

NUMBERSUSA/RASMUSSEN REPORTS, 4/20/2011 - Rasmussen has just released a new poll which shows that 61% of American voters oppose giving citizenship to the children of illegal aliens. That number is higher than Rasmussen's last survey in August and is the highest the number has ever been. Conversely, 28% of voters believe the opposite -- that the children of illegal aliens should receive citizenship at birth (a number that is down 6 points since August).

The poll also surveyed voters on other illegal immigration issues. Rasmussen found that 84% of voters believe that an individual must prove he/she is in the country legally before receiving federal government services. However, voters are evenly split as to whether it's better to keep immigration enforcement in the hands of the federal government or if states should be able to enforce immigration laws as well.
