Did Encore Political Services just run the worst voter registration drive ever?
In a complaint filed this week, Democratic dark money political group Our Oregon was accused of violating election law and possibly committing a felony. --In the complaint, outlined here, Lee Vasche, Executive Director of Signature Gathering Company of Oregon (SGCO) , a firm hired to obtain signatures for the “No Fake Emergencies” ballot measure, alleges Our Oregon offered a lucrative contract to Encore Political Services LLC which induced Encore to breach it’s subcontract with SGCO. The motive, according to Mr. Vasche, was to prevent SGCO from gathering signatures necessary to get their ballot measure qualified. Our Oregon and the Oregon Democratic Party opposed the ballot measure.

House Dems to Detroit Parents: No New Charter Schools For You
In the debate about a state bailout for the Detroit school district, the greatest divide may be the future of charter schools in the city. Democratic lawmakers have often shown a bias against charter schools, and did so again this week.

Transparency: California Dems Halt Effort to Make Unions Disclose How Money Is Spent
California union workers will continue to be in the dark about how their dues are spent after a bill that would’ve forced unions to post this information online was killed along a party-line vote.

Bad COPP: MT Commission on Political Practices Targets Ideological Opponents
The road trip from the Colorado statehouse to the Capitol building in Montana is about 800 miles, but the psychological distance from a Denver meth-house to the office of Helena’s Commissioner of Political Practices has to be greater than that. And that’s only the beginning of this bizarre story, and just the latest example of partisan public officials using government power to crush their political opponents.

Black Conservatives Aren't Really Black?
As far as left-wing Democrats are concerned, black conservatives aren't really black. To Democrats, black is a state-of-mind, not a color, and the only acceptable state-of-mind for an African American is that of a perpetually embittered, aggrieved victim of white racism.

Banning the Benjamin Suggests the Democrats Are Running Out of Ideas
The latest brainstorm being cooked up by the Democrats — to do away with the hundred-dollar bill — is front-page news all over the world. And for good reason. It’s a terrible idea, and not only because the c-note is the most popular form of green.

10 Times Democrats Vowed To Block Republican Court Nominees
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-K.Y.) has vowed to block any of lame-duck President Obama's Supreme Court nominations. The media have taken to acting as if this move is unprecedented, and that a senator has never publicly stated he would intentionally block a presidential nomination. Not true.

Democrats attempt to set legal framework to sue the gun industry out of existence
Well, most of the Democratic 2016 field supports this, as do anti-gun activists, so it's no surprise that some members of Congress are trying to gut the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act in 2005 (via the Hill): Gun manufacturers could be sued by victims of gun violence under new legislation from Democrats.Read more at Hotair.com

Unions: Mikulski Sold Out American Workers
Some of the largest and most influential trade unions in the country are calling out Democrats for boosting guest worker programs and open borders policies. North America's Building Trades Unions--an umbrella organization representing three million workers and 15 major unions, including the Laborers and Teamsters--sent outgoing Sen. Barbara Mikulski (D., Md.) a letter Thursday accusing her of selling out workers by importing foreigners to work for "Close to Slavery" wages.

Dems Are At War With Americans On Cars, Guns And Refugees
Politics: Democrats like to portray themselves as champions of the good ol' middle-class. Yet on key issues, they've staked out positions diametrically opposed to the desires of those same Americans.

Dems to worship at mosque with ties to terrorists
A handful of House Democrats will meet early Friday afternoon at the Dar Al-Hijrah Islamic Center, a Northern Virginia mosque that has controversial ties to terrorists who have engaged in terrorist acts against the United States. For example, it was widely reported that some of the Sept. 11, 2001 hijackers attended the mosque, and that Fort Hood shooter Nidal Hasan worshipped there.

The Democrats' Demise, the Republicans Rise
"It's a great day to be a Republican in California!" I thought to myself when my colleagues elected me to be the next Beach Cities Republicans Club President, a growing grassroots organization in an otherwise deep blue state, which has witnessed and assisted remarkable Republican gains. I was following a long-list of who's who in the South Bay. The prior president, David Hadley, won the state assembly seat for my district, the first Republican in over two decades.

Even Democrats Worry About Obama's Weirdly Detached Views On ISIS
National Security: Speaking in another country 8,600 miles away from the U.S. capital, President Obama viciously attacked anyone who dares oppose his Syrian refugee plans. Does he include his fellow Democrats?

Again: Senate Democrats Mount Third Filibuster Against Bill to Pay Troops, Fund Military
Senate Democrats launched a third consecutive filibuster of the bipartisan defense appropriations bill yesterday, once again blocking consideration of legislation that would fund the United States military and pay members of our armed forces. Yes, it's okay to be thoroughly perplexed by this development. Remember, the ostensible reason that Democrats have engaged in this obstruction over recent months -- which also entailed filibustering the Veterans Affairs appropriations bill -- was to exploit the troops and veterans as leverage to force Republicans to agree to higher federal spending on unrelated matters.

Democrats’ plan to put ATF on steroids
The highly influential Center for American Progress, which has deep ties to the Obama administration and Hillary Clinton, recently released an extensive report calling for the nation's lead agency on gun regulation to be merged into the FBI.
The generalities of the center’s 182-page report were widely covered by media upon its release last May. However, the details in the report were largely unmentioned, including by conservative media agencies.

When did Democrats become the party of free stuff?
Republican presidential candidate Marco Rubio was quick to connect policies embraced during the recent Democratic debate to broad promises of more government giveaways.
“It was basically a liberal-versus-liberal debate about who was going to give away the most free stuff,” Rubio told Fox News. “Free college education, free college education for people illegally in this country, free health care, free everything.”

House Dems willing to save John Boehner
Speaker John Boehner's future was on Rep. Henry Cuellar's mind when he was speaking with fellow House Democrats last week.
The question they were mulling: Would they throw Boehner a lifeline and save his job if he needed their votes to survive?
"Heck yes!" Cuellar said in an interview when asked if he'd consider it.

Senate Republicans decry Democrat abuse of Corporate Kicker
Following a release from left-wing activist group Our Oregon, Senate Republicans drew attention to an abuse of Oregon’s corporate kicker system: Democrat leaders intentionally underfunded K-12 education and refused to use money from the corporate kicker to increase funding for K-12 education, as directed by Oregon voters.
Instead, they used the corporate kicker to fund pet partisan priorities, not Oregon classrooms.

Traitor Senators Took Money from Iran Lobby, Back Iran Nukes
The Democrats are becoming a party of atom bomb spies.
Daniel Greenfield, a Shillman Journalism Fellow at the David Horowitz Freedom Center, is a New York writer focusing on radical Islam.
Senator Markey has announced his support for the Iran deal that will let the terrorist regime inspect its own Parchin nuclear weapons research site, conduct uranium enrichment, build advanced centrifuges, buy ballistic missiles, fund terrorism and have a near zero breakout time to a nuclear bomb.

Union Official Charged With Illegal Clinton Donations Indicted for Mail Fraud
Federal authorities indicted the former president of a Florida teachers’ union on fraud charges on Thursday, even as he faces additional charges in his home state over allegedly illegal campaign contributions to Hillary Clinton. The Justice Department charged former Broward Teachers Union (BTU) president Patrick Santeramo with two counts of mail fraud for his alleged role in embezzling more than $35,000 in payments from a local school district.
