Stand by Me Protest held at state capital in honor of Lavoy Finicum

A protest was held Saturday on the steps of the State Capitol. A few dozen protestors, who say they gathered to honor the life of the late LaVoy Finicum, also vowed to carry on his legacy by taking a stand against the federal government.
Stand By Me for LaVoy and Liberty was one of a number of similar rallies slated in states across the nation, including Texas, Florida and in Oregon.

Roseburg Rally Goes Viral, Patriots Standing Nationwide

It’s been roughly 36 hours since a patriot in Oregon—local activist Casey Runyan—posted on Facebook to say that “on Friday, we assemble.” Runyan’s words were a direct call to patriots in the Pacific NW to stand with citizens in Roseburg who have already made it clear that Obama is not welcome there for his planned visit on Friday. Before a judge today ordered her release, Ted Cruz and Mike Huckabee announced their plans to meet with Kentucky clerk Kim Davis whose refusal to worship at the First Church of Justice Kennedy and sign her name to same-sex marriage licenses landed her in jail over the Labor Day weekend. Had her stand happened a few short centuries ago, Huckabee and Cruz would likely have been joined by a few notable figures from Christian history — men like Martin Luther, John Calvin, and John Knox — the men who first put the “protest” in “Protestant.”

The Chicago Tribune, newspaper of record in the blighted metro area that McDonald’s calls home, was happy to give front page coverage to these protesters, telling their tale and helpfully spinning the story as favorably for the protestors as any could hope. The days of restricting opinion to the Opinion page are long gone indeed.

If Ferguson 2014 is remembered on an objective basis by our media, we will be reminded of an unprovoked attack on a white policeman by a black thug named Michael Brown, who was high on drugs; Michael Brown’s stepfather Louis Head (a convicted marijuana distributor [1]) yelling, “Burn the bitch down;” the burning and looting of local businesses, including black-owned businesses; and the indictment [2] of two blacks for plotting to kill St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney Robert McCulloch and Ferguson Police Chief Thomas Jackson.  Another important factor in all of this has been the constant presence of outside agitators, including members of the white communist-led Revolutionary Communist Party [3] (RCP) and the Workers World Party [4].

Democrats Pay Union Members to Protest World War II Vets

It appears that the Obama administration is violating the First Rule of Holes. Yesterday the administration looked awful when it “closed” and barricaded the World War II memorial on the Mall. The memorial is, by its nature, open. There is nothing to close. And the administration knows that every day, tour groups consisting of WWII vets, now mostly in their late 80s or early 90s, come to Washington to visit the memorial. So the administration couldn’t resist closing the WWII memorial by putting up barricades, as part of their effort to dramatize how terrible the government “shutdown” is.

Crowd Attacks The US Ambassador In Beijing

A crowd of around 50 Chinese protesters surrounded the official car of the United States ambassador in Beijing, who escaped unharmed, a State department spokesman said.

The melee occurred outside the gates of the US embassy on Tuesday and security guards had to intervene to protect Gary Locke, 62. The protesters caused minor damage to the vehicle, a statement from the embassy said.
