State Department Warns Americans to Get Out of Libya Now
The State Department has warned all Americans in Libya to get out of the country “immediately.”
The new travel warning stresses that “extremist groups continue to plan terrorist attacks against U.S. interests in the Middle East region, including Libya.”
“The Libyan government has not been able to build its military and police forces and improve security following the 2011 revolution. Many military-grade weapons remain in the hands of private individuals, U.S. and UN-designated terrorists, and other armed groups, including antiaircraft weapons that may be used against civilian aviation.

Robert Reich's Health Care Warning
Robert Reich, former Labor Secretary in the Clinton administration, spoke candidly about health care at UC Berkeley on October 26, 2007. In this video he reveals what an honest politician would say, but doesn't for fear of not winning an election. In part: "... [W]hat I'm going to do is I am going to try to reorganize [the American health care system] to be more amenable to treating sick people. But that means you -- particularly you young people, particularly you young healthy people -- you're going to have to pay more..."

EXCLUSIVE: Saudi Arabia 'warned the United States IN WRITING about Tamerlan Tsarnaev in 2012'
(Hat tip: KimR)
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia sent a written warning about accused Boston Marathon bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security in 2012, long before pressure-cooker blasts killed three and maimed hundreds, according to a senior Saudi government official with direct knowledge of the document. The Saudi warning, the official told MailOnline, was separate from the multiple red flags raised by Russian intelligence in 2011, and was based on human intelligence developed independently in Yemen. Citing security concerns, the Saudi government also denied an entry visa to the elder Tsarnaev brother in December 2011, when he hoped to make a pilgrimage to Mecca. Tsarnaev's plans to visit Saudi Arabia have not been previously disclosed.

The scientific technological elite [Eisenhower's other warning]
Republished 6/4/2012
AMERICAN THINKER, 12/7/2009 by Robert W. Ball - President Dwight D. Eisenhower's famous 1961 farewell address contained more than an admonition about the danger of an expanding "military-industrial complex." That speech was also an early warning of the current unholy alliance between the government and a scientific community dependent on the government for its funding.

- "...(In)
the technological revolution during recent decades...research has
become central...complex, and costly. A steadily increasing share is
conducted for, by, or at the direction of, the Federal government...the
solitary inventor... has been overshadowed by task forces of scientists
in laboratories and testing fields...
...the free university, historically the fountainhead of free ideas and scientific discovery, has experienced a revolution in the conduct of research. Partly because of the huge costs involved, a government contract becomes virtually a substitute for intellectual curiosity.
The prospect of domination of the nation's scholars by Federal employment, project allocations, and the power of money is ever present and is gravely to be regarded....we must...be alert to the...danger that public policy could itself become the captive of a scientific technological elite." [ii]

Federal agency warns of radicals on right
WASHINGTON TIMES, 4/14/2009 by Audrey Hudson - 9-page report sent to police. ∴ The Department of Homeland Security is warning law enforcement officials about a rise in "rightwing extremist activity," saying the economic recession, the election of America's first black president and the return of a few disgruntled war veterans could swell the ranks of white-power militias. ∴ A footnote attached to the report by the Homeland Security Office of Intelligence and Analysis defines "rightwing extremism in the United States" as including not just racist or hate groups, but also groups that reject federal authority in favor of state or local authority. ∴ "It may include groups and individuals that are dedicated to a single-issue, such as opposition to abortion or immigration," the warning says. Cheney speaks out

- - Cheney criticized the Obama administration for relaxing its guard
- Cheney vigorously defended the terrorist detention center at Guantanamo Bay
- Cheney also commented on the current political scene:
"You have Daschle with his tax problem. You have [Treasury Secretary Tim] Geithner with his tax problem. You have Charlie Rangel, who's chairman of the Ways and Means Committee -- doesn't understand the tax code. You have Chris Dodd, who got special -- alleged special terms" on a mortgage. "If I look at that from our standpoint," Cheney said, "I'd start to worry about it if I were a Democrat. There's nothing more dangerous, politically, than hypocrisy. At some point, here, we're going to get critical mass."
