All around Paris, they found traces of consistent and improved bomb-making materials. And they began sketching in the details of a multilayered terrorist attack that evaded detection or prevention until much too late.

FBI Ticked About Obama's Ignorant Statement Claiming Hillary's Server Didn't Compromise

During an interview with 60 Minutes last weekend, President Obama made the bold and ignorant claim that Hillary Clinton's use of a private server during her time at the State Department didn't compromise U.S. national security.
"It is important for her to answer these questions to the satisfaction of the American public," Obama claimed. "I can tell you that this is not a situation in which America’s national security was endangered.”
Not only was Obama's statement out of line during an ongoing criminal FBI investigation of the former Secretary of State and Democrat presidential candidate, it holds no merit with the facts we already know.

A top official in Gov. Kate Brown's administration has launched a criminal investigation searching for the person who leaked former Gov. John Kitzhaber's personal emails.

Meanwhile, two high-ranking state managers were placed on administrative leave on Friday pending a personnel investigation that is separate from the criminal one. One, Michael Rodgers, is the same manager who blocked a well-publicized effort by Kitzhaber's staff to delete copies of his personal emails stored in state archives.

Kincaid: Al Jazeera is a “Threat to national Security”

In early January this year, Accuracy in Media’s Cliff Kincaid called for a Congressional investigation of Al Jazeera’s purchase of Current TV citing it as a threat to national security (video at link).

Saturday evening, February 23, Michael Thompson at WND followed up: Congress resisting calls to investigate Al Jazeera. ✧ Quoting Cliff Kincaid's original call, Thompson reiterated, Kincaid said if anyone doubts Al Jazeera should be investigated, “I say, let’s have a congressional hearing.” ✧ “Let’s put the evidence on the record to demonstrate how Al Jazeera works hand and glove with al-Qaida and other terrorist groups,” he said. ✧ Kincaid said his organization “simply wants Congress to do its job.” ✧ “Ever since Current TV and Al Jazeera made this deal, my group has simply said – let’s investigate and see if the law is being followed, or if Al Jazeera is a terrorist organization.” Read more at WND... 'Boomtown' Special Assails D.C. for 'Extracting' Wealth from Taxpayers

BREITBART: BIG GOVERNMENT - In a blockbuster one-hour investigative special that aired on Fox News' "Hannity" on Friday, Peter Schweizer, Steve Bannon, and Sean Hannity exposed how Washington, D.C. has extracted power and money from the United States into a centralized location to become the country's greatest "boomtown," despite not creating anything. ✧ Schweizer, the president of the nonpartisan Government Accountability Institute, highlighted how the permanent political class that relies on lobbying and influence peddling makes more money by "growing the size of government," which leaves no incentive on either side of the aisle to limit government. ✧ As a result, he noted the three richest counties and seven of the top ten wealthiest counties in the nation are in the Washington, D.C. region. The District also consumes the most fine wine in the nation. He asserted the business in Washington is now "not politics" but "money."

White House REJECTS Solyndra Subpoena

PATRIOT UPDATE, 11/4/2011 - President Obama’s attorney sent a letter to Congressional investigators on Friday, saying the White House would not cooperate with a subpoena requesting documents related to its doling out a $535 million loan guarantee to now bankrupt solar panel manufacturer Solyndra. ✧ “I can only conclude that your decision to issue a subpoena, authorized by a party-line vote, was driven more by partisan politics than a legitimate effort to conduct a responsible investigation,” Obama’s counsel, Kathryn Ruemmler, wrote in a letter to the top Republicans on the House Energy and Commerce committee. (Read Ruemmler’s full letter here). ✧ Committee chairman Rep. Fred Upton, R-Mich, blasted the White House response:
“We have been reasonable every step of the way in this investigation, and it is a shame that the Obama Administration and House Democrats continue to put up partisan roadblocks to hide the truth from taxpayers.

Sarah Palin: Mr. President: Boycott Copenhagen; Investigate Your Climate Change "Experts"

FACEBOOK, 12/3/2009 by Sarah Palin - The president’s decision to attend the international climate conference in Copenhagen needs to be reconsidered in light of the unfolding Climategate scandal. The leaked e-mails involved in Climategate expose the unscientific behavior of leading climate scientists who deliberately destroyed records to block information requests, manipulated data to “hide the decline” in global temperatures, and conspired to silence the critics of man-made global warming. I support Senator James Inhofe’s call for a full investigation into this scandal. Because it involves many of the same personalities and entities behind the Copenhagen conference, Climategate calls into question many of the proposals being pushed there, including anything that would lead to a cap and tax plan. U.N.-Usual Suspects

The United Nations has sent a special investigator to look into whether affordable housing is so hard to find that it constitutes a human rights violation. Her destination? New York, Washington D.C., Chicago and three other U.S. cities.

U.N. special investigator Raquel Rolnik's mission is to tour the American cities and report back to the U.N. General Assembly. The New York Post editorial board writes: "Since 2000, the U.N. has had a housing investigator looking into shortages in such obvious places as Cambodia, Kenya, and Iran... but this is its first foray into U.S. territory — and it remains to be seen whether she'll call for Donald Trump and other landlords to be hauled before the International Criminal Court." --Fox News Channel's Lanna Britt contributed to this report. Gerald Walpin speaks: The inside story of the AmeriCorps firing

WASHINGTON EXAMINER, 6/14/2009 by Byron York - The White House's decision to fire AmeriCorps inspector general Gerald Walpin came amid politically-charged tensions inside the Corporation for National and Community Service, the organization that runs AmeriCorps. Top executives at the Corporation, Walpin explained in an hour-long interview Saturday, were unhappy with his investigation into the misuse of AmeriCorps funds by Kevin Johnson, the former NBA star who is now mayor of Sacramento, California and a prominent supporter of President Obama. Walpin's investigation also sparked conflict with the acting U.S. attorney in Sacramento amid fears that the probe -- which could have resulted in Johnson being barred from ever winning another federal grant -- might stand in the way of the city receiving its part of billions of dollars in federal stimulus money. After weeks of standoff, Walpin, whose position as inspector general is supposed to be protected from influence by political appointees and the White House, was fired. Read more at the Examiner...
