Former FBI agents to Director Comey: ‘Future of the Bureau’ rests on handling of Clinton email case

A group of former agents has written a letter to FBI Director Comey saying the “future of the bureau” hinges on what happens in the investigation of Hillary Clinton’s private email server. The letter from a group of retired agents in Long Island compares the Clinton email scandal to another famous FBI case known as ABSCAM. ABSCAM involved public corruption of politicians who were filmed taking bribes from a fictitious front company. Fox News published the letter over the weekend.

‘This was all planned’: Former IG says Hillary, State Dept. are lying

The State Department is lying when it says it didn't know until it was too late that Hillary Clinton was improperly using personal e-mails and a private server to conduct official business -- because it never set up an agency e-mail address for her in the first place, the department's former top watchdog says.

FBI Ticked About Obama's Ignorant Statement Claiming Hillary's Server Didn't Compromise

During an interview with 60 Minutes last weekend, President Obama made the bold and ignorant claim that Hillary Clinton's use of a private server during her time at the State Department didn't compromise U.S. national security.
"It is important for her to answer these questions to the satisfaction of the American public," Obama claimed. "I can tell you that this is not a situation in which America’s national security was endangered.”
Not only was Obama's statement out of line during an ongoing criminal FBI investigation of the former Secretary of State and Democrat presidential candidate, it holds no merit with the facts we already know.

Valerie Jarrett Throws Hillary Under the Bus on Email Scandal

Obama White House senior adviser Valerie Jarrett threw Hillary Clinton under the bus Wednesday at the Washington Ideas Forum, where she told interviewer Andrea Mitchell that the White House gave Clinton guidance forbidding her from using private email.
“Yes, there were. Yeah, absolutely,” Jarrett said when asked if the White House sent guidance to Cabinet secretaries about not using private email. “Obviously we want to make sure that we preserve all government records, and so there was guidance given that government business should be done on government emails and that if you did use a private email that it should be turned over.”

Emails show Clinton Foundation shaped policy

Former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton’s emails reveal how prominently the Clinton Foundation factored into her thinking as America’s top diplomat, raising questions about where she drew the line between official business and aiding the family charity run by her husband and daughter.
In one instance, Mrs. Clinton appeared to try to steer a Haiti earthquake recovery project to the foundation, according to new emails released this week as the State Department belatedly complies with open records requests for her communications during her four years in office.

NEW DIMENSIONS TO THE HILLARY EMAIL SERVER STORY?

Chuck Ross of the Daily Caller reports that the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform has obtained information that could deepen the Hillary Clinton private email server scandal. The information is contained in notes of a meeting between two State Department whistleblowers and members of the Oversight Committee’s staff.
This story has been reported before. But the whistleblower reportedly ties it to the Clinton email server, alleging that clintonmail was used to conceal Abedin’s allegedly unlawful activity. That’s a big deal, or should be.

GOP says Obama health official instructed staff to delete email

House Republicans on Friday accused a top Obama administration health official of telling staff to delete an email related to the healthcare law’s rollout last fall.In a letter to Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Administrator Marilyn Tavenner, the Republicans point to an Oct. 5 email from Tavenner to staff about how to handle calls from people applying for ObamaCare.  In the first line of the email, Tavenner writes “please delete this email but see if we can work on call script.”  Republicans in their letter ask why Tavenner wanted the email deleted, and whether she has asked for other emails to be deleted.

Judge orders IRS to come up with better explanation of missing Lerner e-mails

The dog-ate-my-homework – er, excuse me, hard-drive-ate-our-emails excuse did just about as well in federal court as it would during an IRS audit. Judge Emmet Sullivan rejected the IRS’ response to the Judicial Watch complaint about missing e-mails from Lois Lerner and other IRS employees involved in the targeting scandal yesterday. Sullivan in effect took steps to conduct his own independent probe, issuing an order demanding specific answers — and demanding them by one week from today:

IRS CANCELLED Contract with Email-Storage Firm Weeks After Lerner’s Computer Crash

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) cancelled its longtime relationship with an email-storage contractor just weeks after ex-IRS official Lois Lerner’s computer crashed and shortly before other IRS officials’ computers allegedly crashed.  The IRS signed a contract with Sonasoft, an email-archiving company based in San Jose, California, each year from 2005 to 2010. The company, which partners with Microsoft and counts The New York Times among its clients, claims in its company slogans that it provides “Email Archiving Done Right” and “Point-Click Recovery.” Sonasoft in 2009 tweeted, “If the IRS uses Sonasoft products to backup their servers why wouldn’t you choose them to protect your severs?
