Government Has No Receipts for Thousands of Unaccompanied Alien Children

The Department of Justice does not have receipts for more than half of the unaccompanied alien children apprehended at the southwest border by Border Patrol since the start of Fiscal Year 2013, government records show.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection data show more than 85,000 total apprehensions of unaccompanied alien children during fiscal year 2013 and fiscal year 2014 through June. Information from the same time period provided to National Review Online by the DOJ’s Executive Office for Immigration Review shows 41,592 total receipts marked as juvenile in immigration courts. Kathryn Mattingly, spokesperson for EOIR, tells NRO the receipts refer to new Notices to Appear (NTA)—the document the Department of Homeland Security uses to charge an illegal immigrant with being removable from the United States.

Report: SMALL LIFELESS, DEAD CHILDREN Found “Washed Up Along Riverbank” of Rio Grande

A Fox News exclusive reported this morning by Jana Winter inexplicably buried the lede. Winter reports that several dead children have been discovered “washed up along the riverbank” of the Rio Grande, but fails to note that there have been no reports by the Obama administration on this.  This indicates a pattern of covering up dead illegal alien kids by the Obama administration. It was two weeks before news was reported on the sole child death acknowledged by the Obama administration, Gilberto Ramos, a 15 year-old boy from Guatemala whose body was found in the Texas brush dead from the heat.

Cloward-Piven at the border

...Cloward and Piven were specifically interested in replacing welfare programs with a government-guaranteed annual income for everyone – an idea that still emerges from the more absurd quarters of the Left occasionally – but the basic idea of overloading the republican system and replacing it with centrally-planned tyranny can be applied in many different ways. Take a look at the humanitarian crisis on the southern border, which I wrote about two weeks ago. It has since burst onto the front pages with some astonishing stories, including leaked photos of illegal alien children – many of them 12 years old and younger – “warehoused” in overcrowded facilities, where there are growing concerns about sanitation and disease.

Judge claims DHS delivering smuggled children to illegal immigrant parents

A federal judge in Texas is accusing the Department of Homeland Security of hand-delivering children smuggled into the United States to their illegal immigrant parents.
U.S. District Judge Andrew S. Hanen revealed the practice in a blistering court order filed late last week. He said the "dangerous" practice is effectively aiding human traffickers and particularly the drug cartels, which run many of these operations.

"These actions are both dangerous and unconscionable," he wrote.

Marion County GOP issues press release opposing SB 742 & SB 845

Marion County Republican Central Committee
March 18, 2011
Press Release:

The Marion County Republican Central Committee (MCRCC) recognizing the detrimental effects of illegal immigration on the United States, particularly here in Oregon, voted unanimously on March 17th to oppose two pieces of legislation before the 2011 Oregon State Legislature, SB 742 and SB 845, that would legitimize the presence of illegal aliens in our state. ∴ – SB 742 would grant instate tuition to the progeny of undocumented foreign nationals illegally present in the U.S. (undocumented international students) to attend Oregon’s public four year universities. ∴ – SB 845 would allow issuance of Oregon drivers licenses to undocumented foreign nationals illegally present in the U.S. living in the state. ∴ The MCRCC urges Oregon State legislators representing any portion of Marion County to oppose both SB 742 and SB 845.
