DHS Quietly Releasing Vanloads of Illegal Aliens Into the United States
While the nation focuses on the 2016 Republican and Democrat presidential campaigns, the Obama administration has been continuing its lawless policies on the Mexican border. Judicial Watch reports that the Department of Homeland Security has been "quietly transporting" illegal aliens from the border to Phoenix and letting them go without processing or issuing court appearance documents.

Vehicular homicide not enough to detain illegal immigrants: DHS
Even being convicted of homicide isn’t enough to ensure illegal immigrants are detained by federal agents, the government’s top deportation official said in a letter to Congress released Monday. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Director Sarah Saldana said neither Obama administration policy nor federal law required her agency to detain Edwin Mejia, an illegal immigrant who arrived as part of the surge of unaccompanied children from Central America, after he was charged with vehicular homicide in Nebraska.

DHS Employee: Obama Admin Ordered Us To 'Scrub' Intelligence Of Muslims With Terror Ties
So, in the era of fighting radical Islamic terrorism, the Obama administration reportedly told workers at the Department of Homeland Security to scrub the records of Muslims with terror ties; information that’s been collected for years, according to Philip Haney. Haney broke his silence on the matter last week in The Hill...

Rest easy America: hundreds of DHS badges, guns, phones go missing
If you were up to no good and looking to cause a bit of mayhem – particularly at the border – think of some of the tools you might like to get hold of. Explosives and weapons are a given, natch. But what if you could get your hands on some honest to goodness credentials making it look like you were a federal law enforcement official? Well start checking on E-bay because there may be some out there.

72 employees at DHS on terror watch list
Congressman Stephen Lynch (D-Mass.) was one of 47 Democrats who joined with Republicans to support a GOP bill to tighten screening requirements for “Syrian refugees.” I happen to think this is moot, since the FBI director has made it crystal-clear we can screen all we want, but since there is no intelligence to refer back to, the process will yield unreliable results. That aside, Lynch is speaking out on his lack of confidence in the Department of Homeland Security as well as the Transportation Security Administration.

DHS caught busing in illegal Somalis from Mexican border
The U.S. is bringing in 100,000 Muslims every year through legal channels such as the United Nations refugee program and various visa programs, but new reports indicate a pipeline has been established through the southern border with the help of the federal agency whose job it is to protect the homeland.
They are coming from Somalia and other African nations, according to a Homeland Security official who was caught recently transporting a busload of Africans to a detention center near Victorville, California.
Somalia is the home base of al-Shabab, a designated foreign terrorist organization that slaughtered 147 Christians at a university in Kenya just last month.

Chaos in House as lawmakers reject DHS bill; shutdown nears
A short-term funding measure to keep the Department of Homeland Security open (DHS) was defeated in the House on Friday in a stunning vote that could result in a partial government shutdown at midnight. The bill failed 203-224, with 51 Republicans voting against legislation that was set to fund the DHS and its associated agencies through March 19. Twelve Democrats voted for it. The vote is a humiliating defeat for Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) and his leadership team, who had scrambled to bring the three-week funding bill to the floor ahead of the looming deadline. The next steps on the funding bill are not clear, with a shutdown of the agency just hours away.

Obama exploits immigrant child crisis that he created
The Obama administration’s arrogance and penchant for, charitably speaking, chafing the boundaries of legality, is almost boundless. But dealing with illegal immigration turns the knob past 11. Obama’s DHS has renewed DACA, the program that allows illegal immigrant children to stay in the US, sort-of-legally. DACA created the current child-immigrant crisis, and Obama’s keen to exploit it.
I’ll give Obama credit for one thing: he didn’t create the immigration problem. He only made it exponentially worse. Since passing the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 our government has done little to control our southern border in the last 28 years, and the results are predictable—in fact were predicted by Theodore Hesburgh’s Commission on Immigration Reform.

Federal authorities under fire for dumping illegal immigrants in US
SCORES OF ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS, caught by authorities in Texas trying to sneak into the country via the Rio Grande Valley, are being flown, bused and then abandoned in places like Arizona, New York and Maryland instead of being sent back across the border.

"What an astonishing failure of leadership at every level inside the Beltway," said [Arizona] Republican gubernatorial candidate Scott Smith.

Republican Senators Warn President Not to Abandon Immigration Enforcement
In a letter to President Obama, 22 Republican senators said the deportation policy changes under consideration by DHS would represent “a near complete abandonment of basic immigration enforcement and discard the rule of law and the notion the United States has enforceable borders.” The letter warns Obama to improve immigration enforcement, not look for ways to weaken it.

Judge claims DHS delivering smuggled children to illegal immigrant parents
A federal judge in Texas is accusing the Department of Homeland Security of hand-delivering children smuggled into the United States to their illegal immigrant parents.
U.S. District Judge Andrew S. Hanen revealed the practice in a blistering court order filed late last week. He said the "dangerous" practice is effectively aiding human traffickers and particularly the drug cartels, which run many of these operations.
"These actions are both dangerous and unconscionable," he wrote.

DHS Caught Spying On Veterans
In 2009, the FBI and Department of Homeland Security began a program to monitor white supremacists and “militia/sovereign-citizen extremist groups” for terrorist activities.
Included among the suspected terrorists were Iraq and Afghanistan veterans.
At the time it was revealed, the program called “Operation Vigilant Eagle” caused some controversy but was quickly forgotten and buried by the media.
For the DHS, Vigilant Eagle was the expression of the misdirected paranoia that exists at the agency’s highest levels, which since President Obama stepped into office have issued multiple reports about a supposed wave of terrorism by American conservatives of various stripes, from Tea Party members to off-duty cops.

Annals of the Security State: More Airplane Stories
"My dad fought a war so this can never happen in America. I will not dishonor my father's memory by giving up what he fought for. No, sir. With all due respect, I will not consent to a search without a proper warrant."
Over the weekend I related the story of Gabriel Silverstein, a businessman and pilot who for no apparent reason was subjected to a two-hour detention and invasive search by Homeland Security officials as he traveled across the country in his small plane. The picture above is not from that episode; it's an official DHS photo of its emergency-response agents being trained.

The picture above is not from that episode; it's an official DHS photo of its emergency-response agents being trained.
Below and after the jump are two additional stories of the same sort. The first is a long account from Larry Gaines, a small-plane pilot from California who had a similar episode last year. The story is long and detailed, and will be riveting for those in the aviation world. The summary for general readers is this.
- A private pilot set out from an airport in the Sierra foothills of California, headed to Oklahoma;
- He made the trip "VFR" -- under visual flight rules, choosing his own path and knowing that he did not need to check in with air-traffic controllers as long as he stayed out of certain kinds of airspace (around big airports, in military zones, or subject to other restrictions).
- He eventually landed at a tiny little airport in rural Oklahoma, where a friend met him and took him home for dinner.
- The pilot realized that he had dropped his eyeglass case at the airport and went back to retrieve it.
- At which point all hell broke loose, as he describes in detail. In short, local, county, and federal enforcement agents were there to inspect him and his plane -- and when he asked why, they said that his "suspicious" profile was "flight west to east, from California."

Oregon's Obamacare -- hearing Friday
VICTORIA TAFT, 3/8/2011 - "OregonObamaCare Coming. Unless YOU Stop It! Hearing Friday. After rearranging the construct of DHS and health care delivery in the last legislature (elections have consequences) here, Democrats have set the table for ObamaCare to come to Oregon. This is an unaffordable blank check to establish OregonObamaCare (This isn't what they're calling it. I just thought it looked snappy all mashed up). This bill establish a health care welfare plan, begin the process of taking control of HMO's, rationing care (of course) and, among other things, set up a huge bureaucracy without increasing the number of doctors. ∴ This, of course, will bankrupt the state..." Department of Homeland Security Reining in Maverick Division
AMERICAN CENTER FOR LAW & JUSTICE (ACLJ), Jay Sekulow's Trial Notebook 5/6/2009 - Reports began circulating today that the Department of Homeland Security is “reining in a maverick division of the agency” following criticism of reports that have been issued over the last several months concerning domestic terrorists and extremists. As many will recall, the report issued over the last two months included veteran’s organizations, pro-life groups and others as potential domestic terrorists. In a recent report issued and quickly withdrawn, the same division of the Department of Homeland Security distributed a “domestic extremism lexicon” which included Jewish groups, animal rights groups, Christian organizations, as well as pro-life groups. It even included groups dealing with Cuban independence. Department of Homeland Security’s spokesperson, Amy Kudwa, said the report was not authorized and has been revoked. In addition, Homeland Security officials have stated that they have taken action to reign in “a maverick attitude” within a section of Homeland Security.
The Department has also issued new internal protocols to prevent these type of releases in the future. Read more at ACLJ... Read More......
