Harry Reid Justifies Lying About Romney’s Taxes from Senate Floor: ‘He Didn’t Win, Did He?’

Harry Reid said he has no regrets for polarizing the Senate, attacking the Koch brothers, and falsely accusing Mitt Romney of not paying taxes.  Republicans have criticized Reid, who recently announced that he would not seek re-election in 2016, for hostile tactics that soured the environment on Capitol Hill.  The Senate minority leader dismissed claims that he is the problem with Washington and said he his proud of taking on the Koch brothers when no one else would.

Koch Brothers Give $25 Million to United Negro College Fund

In a move that is sure to confound--and enrage--the left, the Koch brothers have donated $25 million to the United Negro College Fund (UNCF), the foremost source of financial support to African-American students. ✧ The UNCF launched the "Koch Scholars" program Friday, which "will provide nearly 3,000 merit- based awards to African American undergraduate, graduate, and post-doctorate students seeking scholarship assistance." ✧ According to Koch Industries, Inc., the donation will also help fund 37 historically black colleges, which have struggled with financial shortfalls in recent years. Do monsters get any meaner than Godzilla and King Kong? You bet! Charles and David Koch are ginormous and superbad. Just ask Senate Democratic leader Harry Reid.  “When you make billions of dollars a year, you can be as immoral and dishonest as your money will allow you to be,” the Nevadan said February 26 on the Senate floor. “These two brothers,” Reid added, “are about as un-American as anyone that I can imagine.”  San Francisco billionaire and Democratic campaign contributor Tom Steyer told Men’s Journal that David Koch is “just a famously evil person!”
