Soros to Host Fundraiser for ‘Independent’ Kansas Senate Candidate
Kansas Senate hopeful Greg Orman insists that he is not beholden to the Democratic Party, but a major Democratic donor is hosting a fundraiser for his campaign to unseat Republican incumbent Sen. Pat Roberts. Jonathan Soros, son of billionaire Democratic donor George Soros, will host a New York City fundraiser this week for Orman, who is running as an independent candidate, according to an invitation obtained by America Rising. In addition to the $3.7 million the younger Soros has donated to Democratic candidates, committees, and interest groups, Jonathan is a highly active member of the secretive Democracy Alliance, a hub of Democratic fundraising.

Sen. Pat Roberts Clicks Heels Together, Goes Back to Kansas "Every time I get an opponent"
At the eleven minute mark of this 15 minute interview, Kansas Senator Pat Roberts is reduced to a stumbling, bumbling pile of a 47 years in Washington incumbent who can't manage to coherently explain why he doesn't actually live in Kansas anymore. And perhaps the worst of it is when he admits that he does click his heels together to go back to Kansas on occasion .... seemingly only when he gets an opponent. Roberts may not have distinguished himself as that much of a wizard in D.C. over the years but if a slot opens up in Oz, perhaps Dorothy will consider him as a write in after hearing this embarrassing performance.

Tea party radiologist to primary Kansas Republican for Senate seat
President Barack Obama’s second cousin has confirmed to The Daily Caller that he will challenge Republican Sen. Pat Roberts of Kansas in the 2014 primary.
Speculation that Dr. Milton Wolf, a diagnostic radiologist aligned with the tea party, would challenge the 77-year-old Roberts from the right has been rising in recent weeks, after Wolf sent emails to GOP activists inviting them to contact him. On Monday night, Wolf’s blog promised a major announcement Tuesday.
“I really am concerned about our country, the direction our country is going,” Wolf told The Daily Caller Monday. “The reality is that the career politicians of both parties have failed us. That much is clear and you look around and you think, ‘Somebody has gotta do something,’ and I keep looking for somebody to do something, and no one is. I realized at one point that I’m somebody. I gotta do something. If I want to call myself an American, if I want to think of myself as a patriot, I have to step up.”
