Congress Moves Forward With Impeachment of IRS Commissioner
A resolution to impeach Koskinen was introduced last year by House Oversight Chairman Jason Chaffetz over the stonewalling and obstruction of ongoing congressional investigations into IRS targeting of conservative groups. Now, the House Judiciary Committee will hold two hearings on the resolution and will determine whether to proceed with impeachment.

Student senator faces impeachment for conservative beliefs
There’s a witch hunt underway for conservatives at the University of Southern California – and Jacob Ellenhorn appears to be Public Enemy No. 1. Ellenhorn is a student senator at USC and president of the College Republicans. He is also an outspoken conservative. And that’s a big problem among his fellow student lawmakers at USC.

Oregon Senate Dems block impeachment process proposal
Representative Jodi Hack
(R-Salem) Friday expressed disappointment over recent reports
that Senate President Peter Courtney (D-Salem) and Senate Rules Committee Chair
Diane Rosenbaum (D-Portland) are preventing the Senate from voting on an
impeachment proposal that passed the House with overwhelming bipartisan support
just last month. Chief sponsored by Rep. Hack, HJR 31
would establish a formal process for the impeachment of statewide elected
executive branch officials by the Legislature.
Oregon is the only state in the
nation that does not have a mechanism in place for executive impeachment.

Liberal Icon Urges Impeachment: Obama 'The Most Destructive, Dangerous President We've Ever Had'
A well-respected constitutional expert is blasting President Obama’s unprecedented abuse of powers, and has described him as worse than Richard Nixon. He even goes so far as to call him the most un-American president in the history of the nation. The words of an arch-conservative? Hardly. The warnings of a liberal icon. Nat Hentoff, historian, novelist and syndicated columnist, is not a fan of Barack Obama. In fact, Hentoff says it’s time to consider impeachment — citing Obama’s tendency to resort to executive orders or actions whenever his proposals are rejected by the Republican-controlled House of Representatives. “Apparently he doesn’t give one damn about the separation of power. Never before in our history has a president done these things.”

Obama's Disdain For The Constitution Means We Risk Losing Our Republic
Recommended by Allan West

M. Northrup Buechner, Associate Professor of Economics at St. John’s University in New York writes,
Since President Obama signed the Affordable Care Act into law, he has changed it five times. Most notably, he suspended the employer mandate last summer. This is widely known, but almost no one seems to have grasped its significance. ✧ The Constitution authorizes the President to propose and veto legislation. It does not authorize him to change existing laws. The changes Mr. Obama ordered in Obamacare, therefore, are unconstitutional. This means that he does not accept some of the limitations that the Constitution places on his actions. We cannot know at this point what limitations, if any, he does accept. AT: Hey kids! Let's impeach the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court!
AMERICAN THINKER, 10/23/2010 by Rick Moran - I suppose we're going to have to make allowances for Congressman Peter DeFazio. After all, he is from fruit and nutcake country in Oregon. And he's been in Washington for 11 terms, which is enough to drive even the most levelheaded among us into a mental institution.
But this is just bat guano crazy:
And you could easily make the case that it was McCain-Feingold that upset precedent and that the Roberts court was re-establishing the long held point of law that money in politics is a matter of free speech and worthy of First Amendment protections.
No wonder they call this "The Silly Season" in politics. Read More......
But this is just bat guano crazy:
With Democrats increasingly outraged over the Supreme Court's Citizen United decision that allowed unlimited corporate spending in elections -- a change conservatives have been more successful at taking advantage of -- a Democratic congressman is raising the prospect of impeaching the Supreme Court's chief justice over the issue."I mean, the Supreme Court has done a tremendous disservice to the United States of America," Rep. Peter DeFazio (D-Ore.) told The Huffington Post on Tuesday. "They have done more to undermine our democracy with their Citizens United decision than all of the Republican operatives in the world in this campaign. They've opened the floodgates, and personally, I'm investigating articles of impeachment against Justice Roberts for perjuring during his Senate hearings, where he said he wouldn't be a judicial activist, and he wouldn't overturn precedents."If we impeached every justice who fudged their views in confirmation hearings, they could turn the Supreme Court building into a much needed parking garage.
And you could easily make the case that it was McCain-Feingold that upset precedent and that the Roberts court was re-establishing the long held point of law that money in politics is a matter of free speech and worthy of First Amendment protections.

Democrat Blogojevich Impeached
The Illinois House impeached Gov. Rod Blagojevich (114-1), directing the Senate to put the state's 40th chief executive on trial. It was the first time in the state's 190-year history that a governor has been impeached. Blagojevich was also the first democrat in decades to win governor in Illinois.
