At Mansion Protest, Jindal Makes Planned Parenthood Activists Watch Screenings of the Disturbing Videos

When Planned Parenthood activists showed up at Gov. Bobby Jindal's (R-LA) mansion in Baton Rouge Thursday, in protest of his plan to defund the state's organization, his administration responded in an unexpected, yet powerful way: they made the protesters face the inhumanity they were supporting:

In a news release this morning, Governor Jindal says his office will set up a movie screen and speakers and play on loop the videos of Planned Parenthood employees talking about the harvesting of unborn babies to sell on the open market.

The governor insistently rejects the tossed salad model in favor of the melting pot: an American is an American is an American, in his view. --For his political conservatism Governor Jindal, like Governor Nikki Haley of South Carolina and conservative activist Dinesh D’Souza, also Republicans of Indian origin, is savaged as an Uncle Tamas — an Indian guilty of acting white.

Jindal to Obama: ‘Medieval Christian Threat is Under Control’

Bobby Jindal on Friday released a statement responding to the president’s remarks on Thursday at the National Prayer Breakfast in which he cautioned Americans from getting on a “high horse” when taking a stance against radical Islam because people have committed “terrible deeds” in the name of Christianity, too.  “It was nice of the President to give us a history lesson at the Prayer breakfast,” Jindal said. “Today, however, the issue right in front of his nose, in the here and now, is the terrorism of Radical Islam, the assassination of journalists, the beheading and burning alive of captives. We will be happy to keep an eye out for runaway Christians, but it would be nice if he would face the reality of the situation today.   The Medieval Christian threat is under control, Mr. President. Please deal with the Radical Islamic threat today.”

Jindal’s Brilliant Take on Radical Islam

“Let’s be honest here. Islam has a problem.”  Those are key sentences in an incredibly hard-hitting speech that Louisiana governor Bobby Jindal will give in London on Monday. It is the toughest speech I have read on the whole issue of Islamic radicalism and its destructive, murdering, barbarous ways which are upsetting the entire world.  Early in the speech Jindal says he’s not going to be politically correct. And he uses the term “radical Islamists” without hesitation, placing much of the blame for the Paris murders and all radical Islamist terrorism on a refusal of Muslim leaders to denounce these acts.

The Holder-Jindal Collision: The federal government attacks Louisiana school choice.

Louisiana governor Bobby Jindal found out late on Friday, August 23. Attorney General Eric Holder was suing to block the state’s school voucher program, which aims to give low-income kids in terrible schools the opportunity to attend better public schools and even private schools. The Justice Department claims the two-year-old program could interfere with federal desegregation orders in several Louisiana parishes, holdovers from the Civil Rights era. “This was a complete shock,” Jindal says. “A complete surprise.” Maybe it shouldn’t have been. Liberals have been fighting the Louisiana voucher initiative, officially called a “scholarship” program, from the beginning. “The teacher unions took us all the way to the state supreme court, and the program’s still here,” says Jindal. In May, the court ruled the voucher program was constitutional but that funding it through the general education budget wasn’t. Jindal and the legislature made it a line item in the state budget instead.

Bobby Jindal has emerged as one of the staunchest critics of the response by the federal government and BP PLC. ∴ Nearly every day, the Republican policy wonk pulls on his brown cowboy boots and traipses across a newly oiled shore, or takes a boat through fouled waters. Along the way, he often lambastes BP's and the federal government's efforts as "too little, too late" for communities scrambling to protect their fragile wetlands from encroaching crude—comments that have drawn sharp criticism from the White House and some Democratic lawmakers. ∴ Louisiana has jurisdiction over its coastline, but none in the federal waters of the Gulf.
