Cuba: In Sharp Contrast to Nets, Jake Tapper Provided Dissident Coverage

As Kyle Drennen pointed out yesterday, the major networks almost completely avoided any coverage of dissidents when reporting on the American flag being raised at the newly-reopened U.S. embassy in Havana. However, there was one report at CNN that stood out in sharp contrast to their reticence to criticize the Castro regime. That was the report by Jake Tapper on The Lead in which he provided an in-depth interview with one of the leading Cuban dissidents.

CNN Describes Muslim Terror Attack on Synagogue as Israel Killing Palestinians

CNN has always been widely hated in Israel, but its reporting on the latest Muslim terror attack with the murder of four Rabbis, three of them Americans, killed by two axe-wielding murderers, in a synagogue while at prayer, really hits a new low.

First there’s a description of the Israeli police shooting and killing “2 Palestinians” when the police had fired in self-defense at the terrorists who had just perpetrated four brutal murders.

Politics: Israel's U.S. Ambassador appears on CNN - destroys CNN's biased reporting

CNN's rampant, inarguable bias is nothing new. After all, the network was founded by Ted Turner and used to be not-so-lovingly referred to as "The Clinton News Network." Its roots are far left and, if there's one thing the far left can't stand, it's Israel.

So it's little surprise that when the station talks about the most recent Gaza dust-up, they tend to leave out facts that support Israel's cause.

Unfortunately, when your guest is Ron Dermer, that tends to blow up in your face.  Dermer is the Israeli ambassador to the United States, and he didn't feel like letting CNN's bias slide during a recent appearance.  Instead of doing the usual news-guest dance, he ripped into the network's unwillingness to report the facts.

Rand Paul: Proud to be a Republican

Published on Oct 13, 2013 by the Washington Free Beacon - As a guest on CNN's 'State of the Union', Sen. Rand Paul laughed off Candy Crowley's question Sunday about whether he'd consider leaving the Republican Party and even becoming a Democrat.
Rough Transcript -

CC: Do you see yourself, at any point in the future, being anything other than... politically... a member of the Republican Party?

RP: Hmm. (small laugh) You mean... you're implying a third party or some other party?

CC: ...Or if you wanted to become a Democrat. There are lots of... lots of other parties out there. Do you see yourself as being anything other than a Republican?

RP: (Laugh) No. I've always been a Republican and I'm one of those people who is actually a real lover of the history of the Republican Party from the days of abolition, to the days of civil rights. The Republican Party has a really rich history. In our state, I'm really proud that the ones who overturned Jim Crowe in Kentucky were Republicans fighting against an entirely unified Democrat Party. So I am proud to be a Republican. I can't imagine being anything else.

Limbaugh, Hannity, Levin eyed as 2016 GOP debate moderators

(Hat tip: Conservative Byte) Miffed that their candidates were singled out for personal questions or CNN John King’s “This or That,” when he asked candidates quirky questions like “Elvis or Johnny Cash,” GOP insiders tell The Washington Examiner's 'Secrets' writer that they are considering other choices, even a heavyweight panel of radio bigs Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and Mark Levin. ✧ They told Secrets that they are eager to bring in questioners who understand Republican policies and beliefs and who have the ability to get candidates to differentiate their positions on core conservative values.

Krauthammer: FOX Wars

WASHINGTON POST, 10/13/2009 by Charles Krauthammer (Hat tip: John H. Detweiler) - Fox wars: The 'post-partisan' president makes an enemies list. ∴ Rahm Emanuel once sent a dead fish to a live pollster. Now he's put a horse's head in Roger Ailes's bed. ∴ Not very subtle. And not very smart. Ailes doesn't scare easily. ∴ The White House has declared war on Fox News. White House communications director Anita Dunn said that Fox is "opinion journalism masquerading as news." Patting rival networks on the head for their authenticity (read: docility), senior adviser David Axelrod declared Fox "not really a news station." And Chief of Staff Emanuel told (warned?) the other networks not to "be led [by] and following Fox." Read more at the Washington Post...

27. Announced nationalized health care "reform" that will strip seniors of their Medicare, cut pay of physicians, increase taxes yet another $1 trillion, and put everyone on rationed care with government bureaucrats deciding who gets care and who doesn't.
Bloomberg: Daschle says, "Health care reform will not be pain free. Seniors should be more accepting of the conditions that come with age instead of treating them," while former Colorado Governor Dick Lamm says seniors have "a duty to die."
If this does not sufficiently raise your ire, just remember that the President, Senators and Congressmen have their own special gold plated health care plan which is guaranteed the remainder of their lives and they are not subject to this new law if they pass it.

Please use the power of the Internet to get this message out. Talk it up at the grassroots level. We have an election coming up in one year and four months where we can reverse the dangerous direction of the Obama administration and its allies. In the interim, we can make their lives miserable. Lets do it!
