John McCain has had enough...John McCain has had enough of the Pentagon's constant stonewalling and obfuscation on everything from the Marines $36 million dollar study of coed Marine units' fighting capabilities to the Army's Ranger School cover up to the disgraceful conduct of the US Navy in the Persian Gulf last month.

AP: GOP bid to change U.S.-Russia nuclear treaty fails

WASHINGTON EXAMINER, 12/28/2010 - (AP) Democrats have deflected an attempt by Republicans to require U.S. and Russian negotiators to reopen a nuclear arms treaty being debated in the Senate. ∴ But the 37-59 vote against the measure by Arizona Sen. Thirty-seven senators on Saturday voted for McCain's amendment to send the treaty back. ∴ Republicans want to strike a reference in the treaty's preamble to missile defense systems. They say the preamble, as written, would allow Russia to withdraw from the pact if the U.S. develops a missile defense system in Europe. Read More......

BC: The Great Escape

THE BELMONT CLUB, 2/15/2010 by Richard Fernandez - As Evan Bayh and Phil Jones moved to put some distance between themselves and an enterprise on the rocks — President Obama’s “Change” agenda and Global Warming respectively, Hillary Clinton began to play down hopes for engagement with Iran by describing it as moving towards a “military dictatorship” which might have to be constrained by sanctions. The recurring theme of the last month was that nothing remained certain. John McCain who is facing a tough challenge for his Senate seat summarized the situation when he, “no incumbent is safe” as anger at Washington reached levels he has never seen before. All the old certainties seem shaky. And Fred Barnes at the Weekly Standard half-pityingly says that President Obama has “been reduced to stunts”. ∴ What is to be done when situation is undergoing an unpredictable transformation? One strategy is to wait the storm out. Read more at the Belmont Club... Read More......

Video: Dems turned deaf ear to Bush Admin. & McCain warnings leading to financial meltdown

(Via email): This video clearly shows that George Bush warned Congress starting in 2001 that this economic crisis was coming if something was not done to control Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. But Congress refused to listen on the assurances of Congressman, Barney Frank and other leading Democrats.

Remember this when you hear "It was Bush's fault," from our current POTUS and Democrats. Read More......
