Giving thanks to a brave congresswoman whose life is now in danger
When the new Congress is sworn in next year, Michele Bachmann will no longer be serving. And it will be a major loss to America. Bachmann has been a rare and nearly lone voice sounding the alarm about the threat of Islam and about government infiltration by the Muslim Brotherhood. And for speaking the sobering truth, she has been mocked, ridiculed, dismissed, and/or ignored. Not just by those on the left, but by those on the right, as well. In honor of Congresswoman Bachmann, I’ve selected a few interviews and articles that highlight her courageous voice.

Sorry, Media, No White Tea Partiers Were Involved
Media Bias: There's palpable dismay at outlets such as MSNBC and Salon that
the Boston Marathon bombers were radicalized young men from Chechnya and not
angry white males from the vast right-wing conspiracy.
Shortly after Monday's tragedy in Boston, David Sirota of Salon Magazine
penned a piece titled "Let's hope the Boston Marathon bomber is a white
American."
His hopes were dashed when the suspects turned out to be Muslim brothers
Dzhokhar and Tamerlan Tsarnaev, whose family origins are in Chechnya, the
rebellious Russian region that is a breeding ground for terrorists.

Bill Bennett: Whitewashing Reality
THE CORNER, 11/23/2009 by Bill Bennett - Is there anything more important than the issue of terrorism? Domestic terrorism and foreign-based terrorism that aims to strike us internally? I well recall the 2006 Nickle Mines Amish School massacre of six children. And I recall Jay Nordlinger saying: “This is what we would have thought would have been one of the last safe places in America.” Who would have thought a health care center . . . run by the Army . . . in a Fort . . . in Texas, would not have been the last safe place in America, safe from terrorism, safe from our own U.S. military hosting an officer-terrorist. Of course, as we all know, it was not safe. On November 5th, 14 people were shot to death by a Radical Muslim in Army uniform. He had a laser sight on his gun. ∴ Why has terrorism, how has terrorism, come to be such a rare and indeed controversial identifier here? Let’s look at what the American people think. Mark Steyn: Live Free or Die
HILLSDALE COLLEGE, IMPRIMIS, April 2009 - The following is adapted from a lecture delivered at Hillsdale College on March 9, 2009.
Excerpt: [I]t seemed bizarre to find the progressive left making common cause with radical Islam. One half of the alliance profess to be pro-gay, pro-feminist secularists; the other half are homophobic, misogynist theocrats. Even as the cheap bus 'n' truck road-tour version of the Hitler-Stalin Pact, it made no sense. But in fact what they have in common overrides their superficially more obvious incompatibilities: Both the secular Big Government progressives and political Islam recoil from the concept of the citizen, of the free individual entrusted to operate within his own societal space, assume his responsibilities, and exploit his potential.
