Harvard's Asian-American Quota

Asian-Americans are one of the nation's most astonishing success stories. In 1960, they accounted for less than 1 percent of the U.S. population but had a rich history of persecution -- from the Chinese Exclusion Act of 1882 to the internment of Japanese-Americans during World War II. Back then, no one could have imagined what lay ahead.
Today, nearly 5 percent of Americans have Asian ancestry, tracing to countries from India to Japan. The Pew Research Center reports that they are "the highest-income, best-educated and fastest-growing racial group in the United States."

Reich's racial comment

At Wake up Black America, Tyrone, writing under the name, Conservative Brother, asks, "Is Barack Obama pushing for race based quotas under his stimulus bill?" He makes his case that race based quotas are indeed intended with effective video comparisons of Jesse Helms' 2006 "Hands on" campaign ad and the recent clip of economic adviser, Robert Reich, speaking on Obama's stimulus package. He also points out that the liberal media is not running the Reich clip.

You'll recall that Reich actually said that no stimulus money should go to 'white male' construction workers. Does Mr. Reich not understand that discriminating against anyone on the basis of skin color is racism? Read More......
