Stossel: Attack on Freedom
TOWNHALL by John Stossel - Something's happened to America, and it isn't good. It's become easier to get into trouble. We've become a nation of a million rules. Not the kind of bottom-up rules that people generate through voluntary associations. Those are fine. Democrats in power
OREGON LIVE.COM, 6/14/2009 by Susan Nielsen for The Oregonian - Democratic lawmakers could balance Oregon's budget, create jobs, improve health care and still manage to lose their lock on Salem. ∴ This would be no small feat, considering the sorry state of the Republican party and the size of the Democrats' voter base. Yet Oregon Democrats have held power long enough to exhibit the four self-defeating tendencies of almost any ruling party:
