Spike It! When the Media Kill a Story for Political Reasons

Pentagon Benghazi Documents Expose Administration Lies

Scandal: Heavily redacted documents show a military response had been drafted in answer to the Benghazi terrorist attack by a group supporting "an Islamic state" in Libya. It also showed the attack wasn't inflamed by a video. It's taken Judicial Watch two years to obtain from the most transparent administration in history the 486 pages of documents pertaining to the military response to the Sept. 11, 2012, terrorist attack on our Benghazi diplomatic mission. They confirm what we have said repeatedly, that the Benghazi tale spun by President Obama and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was indeed a lie agreed upon. Despite heavy redaction, they show that the real "JV team" — a term applied by Obama to the deadly Islamic State — resides in the White House.

Black Lies Matter

...Our President is in a perfect position to intervene in a positive and helpful way.  There could be words about personal responsibility, respecting the rights of others, respecting law enforcement.  Anger and violence could be condemned.

Or, ‘leaders’  could lie about every aspect of the Michael Brown case in a way that would inflame racial divisions, create more anger and violence and increase hatred of the police.  They could concentrate on grievances in a way that is entirely destructive  –  an approach that has no chance of improving the lives of black people.   They could create a nationwide movement that would tear this country apart.  This is the path that was taken by large numbers of people in powerful positions.

Obama’s Lies Tear at the Fabric of the Presidency

During a trial, a lawyer is permitted to test the veracity of a witness by demonstrating prior inconsistent statements.  The lawyers can also challenge the witness’ character for truthfulness and thus demonstrate the witness’ propensity to lie.

President Barack Obama lied about the effects of The Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) prior to its passage and repeatedly after its passage.  At a minimum he lied about the assertion that you could keep your existing healthcare plan, keep your current physician and keep your current hospital.  Mr. Obama and members of his administration had the facts in hand that indicated just the opposite and yet continued to repeat what they actually knew was a false statement.  Mr. Obama did not engage in an overstatement.  Mr. Obama did not misspeak.  Mr. Obama was not taken out of context.  These were calculated and deliberate lies when the truth was already known to them but withheld from all the rest of us.

Eric Holder's Long History Of Lying To Congress

Scandal: Before he lied to Congress while under oath about what he knew about targeting reporters, he lied about Fast and Furious. As early as the New Black Panthers case, Eric Holder had a problem with the truth.  That the House Judiciary Committee is investigating whether Attorney General Eric Holder lied under oath during his May 15 testimony on Department of Justice (DOJ) surveillance of reporters comes as no surprise. People have forgotten about the New Black Panther case, perhaps the most clear-cut case of voter suppression and intimidation ever. On Election Day 2008, New Black Panther Party members in military garb were videotaped intimidating voters outside a Philadelphia polling place.  The slam-dunk prosecution of these thugs was dropped by Holder's Justice Department. When asked why, Holder, on March 1, 2011, testified before the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Commerce, Justice, Science and Related Agencies that the "decisions made in the New Black Panther Party case were made by career attorneys in the department."

The White House claim of ‘doctored e-mails... to smear the president’

When a White House aide uses the same word — “doctored” — on three television shows, you know it is a carefully crafted talking point. On top of that, he says that this was done to “smear the president.”
These are strong words concerning the 2012 attack in Benghazi, Libya, that resulted in the death of the U.S. ambassador and three other Americans. But is this a case of the White House communications chief taking liberties with the facts?

Benghazigate: The Cover-Up Continues

From the start, almost everything that we were originally and "officially" told by the Obama Administration about the Benghazigate "event" was false (i.e., a lie) or misleading or inadequate. And now that the sole suspect held in the attack has been released, the cover-up is gaining momentum.

The report produced by State's Accountability Review Board (ARB) and released in an unclassified version Dec. 18 (pdf) did little to clear up what was misleading and inadequate in the "official" versions about the happenings during the "event."

Obama's Memoir A Tissue Of Lies

Public Trust: Our president, it seems, is quite the fabulist. A new book reveals he fabricated yet another story in his 1995 memoir, this one about a white girlfriend complaining about black anger.

In his supposedly nonfiction memoir, "Dreams From My Father," Obama claims he and the girlfriend got into a "big fight" after seeing a New York play by a black writer. He became annoyed when she allegedly asked "why black people were so angry all the time."

Obama biographer David Maraniss contacted the former girlfriend, Genevieve Cook, who insists the scene never took place. She says they never even saw a show by a black playwright.

Memo Reveals The 'Gutsy' Bin Laden Call That Wasn't

Killing Bin Laden: Like so many others, the final decision to pull the trigger on the world's most-wanted man was delegated to an admiral who undoubtedly would have been thrown under the bus had the mission failed.

It's been almost a year since President Obama's leadership and foreign policy bona fides were allegedly established by the operation that killed Osama bin Laden. A campaign film narrated by Oscar-winning actor Tom Hanks tells of the president's alleged solitary, agonizing decision.

With apologies to Vice President Biden, maybe President Obama doesn't carry quite as big a stick as Joe would lead us to believe.

As reported by Big Peace, Time magazine has obtained a memo written by Leon Panetta, then-director of the Central Intelligence Agency and now-Secretary of Defense, that says "operational decision-making and control" was really in the hands of William McRaven, a three-star admiral and former Navy SEAL.
