Former U.S. Astronaut, Senator John Glenn Dead at 95

John Glenn, whose 1962 flight as the first U.S. astronaut to orbit the Earth made him an all-American hero and propelled him to a long career in the U.S. Senate, died Thursday. The last survivor of the original Mercury 7 astronauts was 95.

Video honors Neil Armstrong - One year after his passing

NASA is remembering Apollo 11 commander Neil Armstrong, the first human to set foot on another world, on the first anniversary of his death. ✧ Red Beet Records recording artist and Grammy nominee Eric Brace, with some video assistance from NASA, honors Armstrong with an original composition, "Tranquility Base," originally written to commemorate the 40th Anniversary of Apollo 11 in 2009.
