Paul Ryan Builds Border Fence Around His Mansion, Doesn’t Fund Border Fence in Omnibus
Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) has previously highlighted the hypocrisy of immigration expansionists who surround their homes with border fences and monitor who comes on their property but do not apparently believe the American people deserve the same protections.

Moderate Republicans’ Threat: Paul Ryan for Speaker—or We Quit
Some Republicans are so desperate for Paul Ryan to step up as the next speaker of the House that they’ve started talking about retiring if he doesn’t, according to a group that works on behalf of the House GOP’s more moderate members.
After Ryan, those members have no second choice or even a second tier of potential speakers, said Sarah Chamberlain, chief operating and financial officer for the Republican Main Street Partnership, a group that backs “mainstream” Republicans and plans to spend millions helping them protect their House seats in 2016.

Ryan sweetens Fast Track trade deal pot
Hoping to attract more conservative support for the Fast Track trade authority deal that will probably be voted on today, Rep. Paul Ryan is trying to address some major concerns that conservatives have with the bill by offering an amendment that would prevent the president from negotiating any changes to US immigration or climate change law.

Half of Ryan-Murray Budget Cuts Don't Happen Until 2022
The budget deal announced Tuesday by Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) and Sen. Patty Murray (D-WA) would boost federal spending by around $65 billion over the next two years. This new spending is offset by increasing user fees, boosting pension contributions by federal employees and the military, and other minor changes. Ryan and Murray also say that the deal will reduce the deficit by $23 billion over the next 10 years. This reduction, however, doesn't start until 2022. According to a 4-page summary document of the deal obtained by Breitbart News, "[t]he budget proposal saves $28 billion over ten years by requiring the President to sequester the same percentage of mandatory budgetary resources in 2022 and 2023 as will be sequestered in 2021 under current law."

Gov. Scott Walker on Rasmussen's 'What America Thinks'
[Excerpt] Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker is the first guest on What
America Thinks
this weekend. On Scott Rasmussen’s new nationally syndicated
television program, Walker addresses his own polarized poll numbers,
Paul Ryan and more. ✧ On Mitt Romney’s controversial comment that 47% of Americans
are dependent on the government and locked in to vote for Obama, Walker
says: “There are some people, like the president, who define success, in
government at least, by how many people are dependent on the
government. … My view, and I think [Romney’s] view and others’ view of
success, is just the opposite: It’s not how many people are dependent,
rather how many are not dependent on the government. Not because we
kicked them out to the streets, but rather because we empowered them to
control their own destiny by getting the private sector back on track
and that’s where real economic prosperity, and ultimately freedom, come
from.”
