Sometimes the news is that something was not newsworthy. The United Nations’ Rio+20 conference — 50,000 participants from 188 nations — occurred in June, without consequences. A generation has passed since the 1992 Earth Summit in Rio, which begat other conferences and protocols (e.g., Kyoto). Reminder: the world premiere of Not Evil Just Wrong is Sunday (10/18), 7:00 p.m. in the OSU Milam Auditorium - Not Evil Just Wrong reveals the true human cost of Global Warming hysteria. The popular website Big Hollywood has announced its intention to live-stream the documentary over its site, as has the American Family Association (afa). Other options are expected to follow. ∴ “Technology has always been anathematic to those who dominate the modern environmental movement,” said Ann McElhinney, co-director of Not Evil Just Wrong. “And after this Sunday, perhaps we’ll have a clearer idea why. Three years ago, immediately following the release of Al Gore’s An Inconvenient Truth, we simply wouldn’t have had the capability to reach this many people short of equipping each and every one of them with his own DVD. Today, we have that technology, and thanks to Andrew Breitbart and the folks at AFA, millions of additional people will have the chance to see this film, consider its message, and be inspired to act as a result.” ∴ Visitors to the live-streaming sites will also be able to watch (and, through social networking sites, even participate in) the panel discussion scheduled for immediately after the film, featuring experts such as world-renowned new media pioneer and ACORN buster Andrew Breitbart and the inestimable John Fund of the Wall Street Journal — among several others who will be on hand to moderate the panel and answer questions submitted by the worldwide audience.

Global Warming: The Backlash Begins

With complete domination of both the mainstream media and the political institutions by true believers in global warming, the news from Gallup that 44 percent of Americans believe that global warming has been exaggerated must have come as a shock. Civil Rights

In 1857, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled in the Dred Scott decision by a 7-2 vote, that black people were not “legal persons” and were property of the slave owners who were granted basic constitutional “rights” to own those slaves. Abolitionists were told if they disagreed with slavery, they didn’t have to “own a slave” and not to 'impose their morality on slave owners'.

Similarly, in 1973, by a 7-2 decision, the Supreme Court ruled in Roe v. Wade that unborn humans were not “legal persons” and that they were, in essence, property of the owner (the mother) who had the constitutional right to kill her unborn baby. Pro-lifers who opposed abortion were told, like the early abolitionists, that if they opposed abortion, they 'shouldn’t have one' and shouldn’t 'impose their morality on those who choose to'. --Gregg Jackson, author Conservative Comebacks to Liberal Lies (2007)
