Exclusive — Donald Trump: ‘Disaster’ Trade Deal Empowers America’s Enemies, Another Sign ‘Country Is Going To Hell’

Real estate magnate and potential 2016 Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump minced no words in an exclusive interview with Breitbart News in which he dissected just how much of a “disaster” the Trade Promotion Authority (TPA) bill that would fast-track President Barack Obama’s secret Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP) trade deal is for America.

Iran militia chief: Destroying Israel is ‘nonnegotiable’

The commander of the Basij militia of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards said that “erasing Israel off the map” is “nonnegotiable,” according to an Israel Radio report Tuesday.  Militia chief Mohammad Reza Naqdi also threatened Saudi Arabia, saying that the offensive it is leading in Yemen “will have a fate like the fate of Saddam Hussein.”  Naqdi’s comments were made public as Iran and six world powers prepared Tuesday to issue a general statement agreeing to continue nuclear negotiations in a new phase aimed at reaching a comprehensive accord by the end of June.

How Barack Obama Undercut Bush Administration’s Nuclear Negotiations With Iran

In 2008, the Bush administration, along with the “six powers,” was negotiating with Iran concerning that country’s nuclear arms program. The Bush administration’s objective was to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons. On July 20, 2008, the New York Times headlined: “Nuclear Talks With Iran End in a Deadlock.” What caused the talks to founder? The Times explained:   Iran responded with a written document that failed to address the main issue: international demands that it stop enriching uranium. And Iranian diplomats reiterated before the talks that they considered the issue nonnegotiable.  The Iranians held firm to their position, perhaps because they knew that help was on the way, in the form of a new president.

Henninger: Obama's Ruinous Course

Daniel Henninger: Where in his career did Barack Obama ever learn the art of the political deal? Nowhere. ✧ Barack Obama says his election victory is a mandate to pursue the policy course he's insisting on in negotiations with Republicans on the fiscal cliff. He wants a tax increase of $1.6 trillion, $50 billion of new and immediate stimulus spending and the end of congressional approval to raise the ceiling on U.S. debt—the debt that a ratings agency downgraded in 2011. Note: Since the House is still in Republican control, Obama did NOT get a mandate. Spread this news whenever you hear the mandate claim! --bc Read More......

WSJ: Hitting the Debt Limit

President Obama and eight congressional leaders, including Speaker Boehner, are scheduled to meet at the White House tonight to determine how big a deal they can achieve. ∴ News that the unemployment rate rose to 9.2% in June, its highest level this year, pushed members of both parties further into their rhetorical corners Friday. ∴ Mr. Boehner, under pressure from Republicans to reject any tax increases, said the jobs data were a sign negotiators face a "dire" situation and "tax hikes on families and job creators would only make things worse." ∴ Still, Mr. Boehner has opened the door to a compromise on the thorniest tax issue by entertaining the idea of linking a broad rewrite of the tax code to allowing tax cuts for upper-income people to expire. Honduran talks snag on proposal for unity govt

BREITBART NEWS, 7/18/2009 by Marianela Jimenez - SAN JOSE, Costa Rica (AP): Honduras' interim government rejected a mediator's proposal to reinstate ousted President Manuel Zelaya and form a national unity government, throwing negotiations on settling the political crisis into doubt Saturday night. ∴ Costa Rican President Oscar Arias, who is mediating the U.S.-backed talks, said both sides agreed to hold more talks Sunday, but he acknowleged they were far apart over how to end the dispute over a June 28 coup that toppled Zelaya and send him int exile. ∴ "We have to make an effort to bring the positions closer," Arias, who won the 1987 Nobel Peace Prize for his role in ending Central America's civil wars, said at the end of Saturday's round of talks. H.R. 1: Health provisions slipped in without discussion

Negotiations Start On The "American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009"
Negotiators for Congress and the White House have tentatively settled on a $790 billion price tag on President Barack Obama's economic stimulus bill and are working to narrow differences on individual elements of the bill.

Republican Senators are questioning whether President Barack Obama's stimulus bill contains the right mix of tax breaks and cash infusions to jump-start the economy. Tragically, no one from either party is objecting to the health provisions slipped in without discussion. Senators should read these provisions and vote against them because they are dangerous to your health. (Page numbers refer to H.R. 1 EH, pdf version).
