Thousands have not paid premiums for Cover Oregon health policies, placing coverage at risk

A large number of people who've signed up for private health insurers through the Cover Oregon health insurance exchange have not paid their first month's premiums, meaning they are at risk of going without coverage through November.  "I've already had clients not pay and lose their coverage," says Lisa Lettenmaier, who owns the health insurance brokerage Health Source NW in Tigard. OK, We Admit It: ObamaCare Is Working!

Health Reform: President Obama is right about ObamaCare — "This thing is working." It's working just like critics said it would, and nothing like its supporters promised.  High and rising premiums. "The increases are far less significant than what they were prior to the Affordable Care Act," she said.  Fat chance, according to industry insiders, who spoke on the condition of anonymity -- no doubt in response to Ms. Sebelius' threats against those who speak ill of ObamaCare.  One insurance official from a "populous swing state" says he expects his company to triple its rates, The Hill reports.
