Unexpectedly: The New York Times discovers that many don’t have to work in the age of Obama

You already knew that Mitt Romney was right about just about everything.

He was right when he called Russia America’s “number one geopolitical foe.” With Moscow occupying sovereign foreign territory in Europe for the first time since 1989, and as American tanks and possibly even nuclear weapons are headed back to the European front, the 1980s called and they clearly got their foreign policy back.

He was right to warn about the expansion of Islamic extremists into formerly obscure places like Northern Mali. Despite being mocked by the unduly self-assured for his insistence that Islamic radicalism in North Africa was a threat to global security, France introduced troops into that country in 2013 at the behest of Mali’s president in order to quell the raging conflict between Islamist insurgents and government forces.  He was right about Detroit.

Was Mitt Romney Right About Everything?

Ten months after Mitt Romney shuffled off the national stage in defeat — consigned, many predicted, to a fate of instant irrelevance and permanent obscurity — Republicans are suddenly celebrating the presidential also-ran as a political prophet. From his widely mocked warnings about a hostile Russia to his adamant opposition to the increasingly unpopular implementation of Obamacare, the ex-candidate’s canon of campaign rhetoric now offers cause for vindication — and remorse — to Romney’s friends, supporters, and former advisers. “I think about the campaign every single day, and what a shame it is who we have in the White House,” said Spencer Zwick, who worked as Romney’s finance director and is a close friend to his family. “I look at things happening and I say, you know what? Mitt was actually right when he talked about Russia, and he was actually right when he talked about how hard it was going to be to implement Obamacare, and he was actually right when he talked about the economy. I think there are a lot of everyday Americans who are now feeling the effects of what [Romney] said was going to happen, unfortunately.”

Gov. Scott Walker on Rasmussen's 'What America Thinks'

[Excerpt] Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker is the first guest on What America Thinks this weekend. On Scott Rasmussen’s new nationally syndicated television program, Walker addresses his own polarized poll numbers, Paul Ryan and more. ✧ On Mitt Romney’s controversial comment that 47% of Americans are dependent on the government and locked in to vote for Obama, Walker says: “There are some people, like the president, who define success, in government at least, by how many people are dependent on the government. … My view, and I think [Romney’s] view and others’ view of success, is just the opposite: It’s not how many people are dependent, rather how many are not dependent on the government. Not because we kicked them out to the streets, but rather because we empowered them to control their own destiny by getting the private sector back on track and that’s where real economic prosperity, and ultimately freedom, come from.” Read More......

Romney Would be Insane to Release More Tax Returns, Unless....

John Nolte: Romney should go on offense and make a deal with Obama and the corrupt media:
I'll give you three years of tax returns if Obama will release the names and addresses of the tens of thousands of undisclosed donors from the 2008 campaign who reportedly donated upwards of a couple hundred million dollars. There are alarming reports that a whole lot of that was foreign money. John McCain disclosed all the information on all his donors, Obama needs to do the same. ✧ If you want another year, Barack Obama needs to... [and it goes on]

The Incredible Bain Jobs Machine

Did Mitt Romney and Bain Capital help office-supply retailer Staples create 88,000 jobs? 43,000? 252? Actually, Staples probably destroyed 100,000 jobs while creating millions of new ones.

Since 1986, Staples has opened 2,000 stores, eliminating the jobs of distributors and brokers who charged nasty markups for paper and office supplies. But it enabled hundreds of thousands of small (and not so small) businesses to stock themselves cheaply and conveniently and expand their operations.

Damned Rich if Romney Does, Damned Rich If He Doesn't

Election '12: The Obama campaign has reached new depths of hypocrisy and mendacity in accusing its GOP opponent of a felony. Mr. President, let he who is without secrets guarded like Fort Knox cast the first stone.

For a Barack Obama operative to accuse Mitt Romney of misrepresenting his chairmanship at Bain Capital to the Securities and Exchange Commission over a decade ago, "which is a felony," as Stephanie Cutter said, reveals the desperation of a presidential re-election campaign that must distract Americans from its dismal economic record.

But it also raises other issues, including: this president's willingness to run on lies, his refusal to practice what he preaches, and the outrageous negligence of the Democrats' powerful lapdogs in the media.

Bill Clinton criticizes Obama's Bain attacks, praises Romney's ‘sterling business career'

Former President Bill Clinton suggested in a television interview Thursday that he believes President Obama's re-election campaign should stop trashing Mitt Romney's work in the private equity industry.  Read more at ABC News...

Rush and other Conservatives are reporting that Clinton 'endorsed' Gov. Romney for President and many speculate that Bill Clinton is paving the way for Hillary to run in 2016.  You be the judge... here's what the former president  said, "There is no question that in terms of getting up and going to the office and basically performing the essential functions of the office, a man who has been governor and had a sterling business career crosses the qualification threshold.” Read More......

Dems Attack Romney Over Layoffs Made by Obama Bundler

Realizing that Obama's reelection is in serious jeopardy, the President's campaign today released a two-minute ad slamming Mitt Romney for layoffs made at a company controlled by Bain Capital. The ad is built around interviews with former steelworkers at GST Steel, a mill in Kansas City, who were laid off as the company collapsed in the wake of a downturn in the steel market. The ad is certainly gripping and emotional. It is also, however, completely wrong.

Washington Post Romney Hit Piece Implodes

Today’s unconscionable Washington Post story, which implied without evidence that Mitt Romney was a homophobic bully to one John Lauber back in his high school days five decades ago, has totally imploded.
Timed to drop the day after President Obama’s announced embrace of same-sex marriage, the story set the political world atwitter. But earlier today, Breitbart News reported that the Post had inflated witness testimony.
