The controversy over Planned Parenthood and how it disposes of aborted fetuses landed in Oregon on Monday as a Democratic legislator abruptly canceled a hearing on the issue.
Rep. Mitch Greenlick, a Portland Democrat who is chairman of the House Health Care Committee, had recently responded to a call by 19 Oregon House Republicans to set a hearing when legislators meet in Salem next week. The Republicans wanted to question Oregon Planned Parenthood leaders about their practices.
