8/19/2009 UPDATE: On 8/14, Progressive Democrats of America (PDA) started a 'Boycott Whole Foods' campaign against the company's co-founder, John Mackey, for authoring an op-ed piece published in the Wall Street Journal in which Mackey offered alternative ideas to improve healthcare and healthcare insurance in America as opposed to supporting a 'single-payer' system. See a bullet-point list of Mackey's alternatives.
Note: Whole Foods employs 50,000 workers. Mackey, considered a libertarian progressive, takes $1 a year salary from Whole Foods. Who will the boycott hurt? And they think the folks protesting at town hall meetings are crazy yahoos who can't think for themselves.
