This hearing was a Socialist chatfest totally within the Liberal Media not Old vs. New Media. Texas newspaper publisher (A liberal), a former Baltimore Sun reporter (A Liberal), a top executive from Google (A Liberal) and the founder of The Arianna Huffington Post (A communist) website traded jabs. Oh Please. Old Vs. New, is Talk radio and Conservative Cable TV maybe one Conservative Newspaper, and Conservative Internet sites - Vs. the whole TV Networks, Newspaper industry and Liberal Internet Sites. Oh Yea I can see some saying NO this is between Internet (NEW Media vs. OLD Media, newspapers and the 5:00 pm TV News. This hearing was a Distortion of the facts. Democrats have the gall to hold such hearings instead of fixing this lousy Economy. Was this hearing another deliberate Democrat Distraction from the real problems?

PS: I smell Fairness Doctrine, Localism, and some Regulation of the Internet brewing and a Bailout of some Socialist Newspapers for the real reason this hearing was even held. Gear up Republicans help increase and protect the Real New Media. John F. Kerry and his Socialist friends are plotting something here.

PPS: I'm Still waiting for a mid valley Conservative online to spring up to be an Alternative to the Corvallis Socialist Times. I've been saying this since 1996.
