Bob Tiernan takes the GOP helm (Oregon)

EXCERPTS:
Tiernan, who served in the Oregon House from 1992 to 1996, brought his campaign message to talk radio and blanketed the Oregon Republican Party delegation with plans and campaign messages. Snodgrass, who served as speaker of the Oregon House from 1999 to 2000, ran a less public campaign. Her effort to win the chairmanship of the Republican Party was topped off with a meet-and-greet reception on Friday night as delegates arrived from around the state to take part in early politicking.

Tiernan's resume includes work as a business "turn around" consultant, former president and CEO of Grocery Outlet, Inc. and includes current service as a U.S. Navy Reserve commander and intelligence officer.
